Fiery Dragon Sword in 3d!
Hey!
Here is a little project I have been working on for about that past week. I'm no texturer so don't expect too much in that department.
This model was made in Lightwave 3d.
Go ahead and offer some constructive criticism. I'm always open to new ideas on how to better my modeling skills.
Hope you like it!

Do I need the glasses?
anyhow... looking good.. modeling work is always impressive (as I have hard time with it) Try add some texture to it. Love the flame effect.
Also I never like that hippo sword much.. see if you can make more improvement to it, like making the dragon head more dragonish.

Hey there, nice model. Two crits though:
The hilt is a bit too thin, and the whole hilt/dragon head is gold in the original model I believe.
Other than that, awesome modelling work, the head looks very cool, as does the fire.

OOOOH, make a concept for Shocking Dragon Sword.
Just make the flames yellow, and have some lightning arching between the 2 bars, and around the flames and stuff? maybe?

Dragons don't breathe lightning
Dragonheart told me they can breathe ice and fire, hence there being an FDS and an IDS...because it looks like the dragon is breathing it

That would be pretty cool. I'll give it a shot.
Anyways... I got the dragon head textured. It actually looks like a metal now instead of that boring grey stuff.
And for those of you that wanted the IDS:
Hope everyone likes!

You've obviously never read the Dragonlance books. Fire, lightning, ice, acid...it's all fair game.

nice job dude. Maybe colour in the eyes? either just black or some glowing red for the fire or blue for the ice.

That is very good. It would be awesome if you could put more detail into the hilt.
